How much does a website cost?
How long is a piece of string? Seriously though, we get asked this so often and we end up saying the same thing. It depends. It depends on what your goals are, and what you are trying to achieve.
How long does it take to design and build a website?
Again, it depends. But most of our clients deal with a 3-6 week window. We work fast. Real fast. Though the biggest challenge is getting your problems solved on a website. This takes time.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Yes. All our websites come with responsive web design in mind. It has to in this day and age. We “could” offer you one that isn’t for a cheaper price, but we “could” offer you a blank site for $2 as well. We just can’t do that to people.
Can I sell products on my website?
From the get go? That would require an eCommerce build. In the future? Absolutely. We develop our sites with future growth in mind. The technology we use allows us to start from a Landing page, work its way up to a general site, and eventually to an eCommerce site.
What is a Content Management System (CMS)?
The best way to explain this for the non tech savy, is that a CMS is a system your website content and structure sits on that allows you to go in and update the content as if you were using Microsoft Word. It’s that simple. What it isn’t though is what a lot of people falsely promise. A fully fledged 100% non code, drag and drop builder and you can use with your eyes closed. Like all works of art, they require some form of understanding. If you want to update your phone number, change your about blurb, update your services, it's very straightforward. Anything structural, requires understanding of design and code. If you plan on having a website that requires frequent updates to the sites content, yet don't have the time, head over to our Website Management page where we have a service that will help you in this area.
